Top and Belly color- top color intense orange/red extended brilliantly over the whole body without visible change towards the belly color. Belly color and underside of tail slightly matt. Color to be free from ticking. Eye color brown. Nails to be dark horn color. Whiskers must show an orange pigment. Under-Color, the intensively orange/red under-color should stretch right down to the skin. The further the under-color stretches the better.

Body color too light or too dark so as to lose the decided contrast between the body color and the marking color. CHOCOLATE TORTOISESHELL: [ Tort. Chocolate ] An even shade of orange top color to carry well down and shading off to a lighter color to the skin. Ears, belly and underside of tail – light chocolate brown. Cheeks and hindquarters (flanks) shaded or toned with light chocolate brown. Eyes brown. BLUE POINT or PEARL POINT: [ Generically a sable point who is " a diluted" * Blue*] Cream body with a blue mask, ears, feet, tail and shading on the lower rump and haunches, which blends into the body color of cream on the saddle. Agouti Group
CINNAMON: A rich cinnamon color with a brown ticking over an intermediate orange band and lilac under-color. Eye circles underside of tail and belly to be white with a lilac under-color. RED AGOUTI: A rich red chestnut color, much deeper in color than the normal agouti body color as agouti. Body color as Agouti but with deep orange/red banding. Ears laced black. Toe nails to be very dark horn color ((near black)). Belly color cream to sand red, blue under-color to belly to be treated as a fault, except in the groin. |

"AOV" Any Other Variety
HARLIQUIN: Head to be equally divided, one side black one side golden orange. Ears one ear to be black and the other golden orange. The Black ear on the golden orange side of the face, and vice versa. Legs one front leg golden orange, the other black. One hind leg black the other golden orange, the reverse side to the front. Body to be banded in black and orange and clearly defined as possible. It shall not be considered a fault if the bands are broken at the ventral and dorsal lines. Belly color may be lightest. Color, part dense black, part golden orange the brighter the better. The Harlequin Netherland Dwarf is recognized in all four colors namely Black, Brown, Blue and Lilac. MAGPIE: As HARLEQUIN but the second color is white rather than orange. The Magpie Netherland Dwarf is recognized in all four colors namely Black, Brown Blue and Lilac. |
